Big portions, big menu, big restaurant, big price. Food can be inconsistent, but you can get some decent meals. The chicken ranch sandwich with chips is quite good and so is the nachos starters. Drink selection consists of some cocktails, wine and lagers. There is also a bar area if you don’t want to eat. Overall the place is pretty average, but doesn’t have much character and is expensive.

Chilis is an American restuarant with a Mexican/Southwestern theme. They have been around for years and are most famous for their ribs. The portions are very big and I couldn’t eat all of my meal. But this is the way with this style of restuarant. The service was friendly, with our child recieving a generous activity pack. Colouring sheet, crayons and a pack of cards to play snap. They were out of some things we ordered, which was dissapointing. They quite often have special offers on, so it may be worth looking out for these. Its not somewhere I’d go to over and over again, but the food is fine.

Chilis has only been within the Galleria Shopping Centre for less than two years now, and is situated on the bridge near Nandos, between the cinema and the shops. The menu is very extensive and as there was so much to choose from I found it difficult to come to a decision. In fact I hadn’t made my mind up when the waitress took our order and just took pot luck. Food was quite slow in being delivered and wasn’t worth the wait, portion sizes were inconsistent between dishes and food arrived luke warm. Was above average price. Best part of my visit was the handdryers in the ladies toilet which dried my hands completely in a matter of seconds. Will not be visiting again to eat. Although there is a separate bar area which i may use for a cocktail or two after eating in one of the other restaurants.
