History
Established in 1994.
P&C Music (formerly Pomp and Circumstance) was founded in 1994 and re-opened under new management in May 2010. Since taking over, Peter Robinson has increased the stock of records available and broadened its range to include every musical genre. As music is a passion for him, he can relate to anyone else who loves music. A former drummer in a blues/rock band, Peter has been collecting records since the early 1960s and started selling them (to finance his record buying) by the middle of that decade. With around 50 years’ experience to draw upon, his expertise in tracking down a piece of music from the scantest information is hugely valued by his customers, many of who are resident outside the UK. Mail order featuring sturdy packing is therefore an integral part of the service from P&C Music — proud to be independent.
Meet the Business Owner
Peter R.
Business Owner
Quondam artist, drummer and librarian, Peter took on the challenge of running an independent record shop. Why? It was a dream fulfilled, a chance to channel his lifelong passion for music into something practical. He hopes that his enthusiasm will help customers find something they like, whether it is an old favourite or an exciting discovery.
