This pub is on the main drag in Harpenden high street and is a staple one on the pub crawl. It used to be a bit run down a few years ago but has been done up to a nice standard now and draws in a wide variety of people. You can get a good range of both draught beers and cheap lagers as well as ciders and spirits. I would recommend this pub to anyone visiting the area. The staff all appear friendly and the service is good and quick. You can also get food in this establishment but there are better restaurants close by for the money I think.

Since the last refurbishment, this establishment has improved drastically.
They’ve changed the beers from standard stuff like carlsberg, to nicer beers like Frulli. The prices are high, but this also keeps out the riff-​raff.
The interior is great, quite up-​market with nice flock wallpaper
