So this must be what a modern, date night pub looks like. I could see spending many evenings here with my sweetheart. Alas, she is too far away.
Two very good cask ales tonight (enjoying a proper job). And two ciders. Food looks good (much better than my meal at my previous stop… wish I’d waited).

Its nice too nice to be called a pub, its a bit lace and dollies. Two real ales on Tribute and Doom Bar not very well kept. But if you want afternoon tea with the girlfreind its very nice.

A small pub, with a very cramped (but still charming) yard out back.
Just 2 ales, but what a great choice; A Surrey Hills brew was the delicious local option and Otter Bright was the import. Both good beers.

Don’t be put off by the outside which I feel lets it down, this is an absolutely fantastic pub. Its a real find.
The staff and owners are lovely and you will not believe how good the food is. When do you last remember eating a really delicious FILLING salad? You’ll get one in here and I swear you’ll be hooked. If you don’t fancy a whole meal at least try their chunky chips, they’re amazing and at only £2 it would be rude not to.
