Specialties
The brand is about gorgeous, easy-to-wear sterling silver and 18ct gold jewellery, particularly created for independent women with an individual sense of style. Design is a dynamic: the woman who wears Kuka-me jewellery makes it shine; her personality becomes integral to the piece — as essential as its elegant design and excellent craftsmanship. Our test is how it makes her feel in return.
Kuka-me is…
Intelligent design,
Enduring beauty,
Uncompromising quality,
Timeless Style.
We also specialise in Clip Earrings! Much to the joy of many of our customers who have struggled for years to find beautiful, and most importantly, comfortable earrings for non-pierced ears.
All Kuka-me castings are 100% recycled 18ct gold or sterling silver and our pieces are hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
History
Established in 2009.
Kuka-me was launched by Reema Pachachi. Reema felt there was a need for well designed, elegant and timeless jewellery for everyday wear, that women could choose to make themselves feel wonderful.
Reema creates the original designs in her Notting Hill workshop, drawing inspiration from nature, architecture and textiles. Techniques such as reticulation and engine-turning, are exploited to create unique, tactile textures. The pieces are cast and hand-finished in the UK by crafts-men and women Reema has worked with for decades.

Business Owner
Kuka-me is the brainchild of jewellery designer, Reema Pachachi. Reema became the first Creative Director of De Beers LV in 2001, proving she was a design force to be reckoned with! Her designs for the luxury brand, such as the Millennium Star Pendant first worn by Iman, and the iconic Wild Flowers collection, illustrate her meticulous attention to detail and subtle originality.
Reema is Visiting Professor of Jewellery at the prestigious Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design, part of the University of Arts London. She has judged gold jewellery design competitions sponsored by the World Gold Council and Anglo Gold Ashanti, in China, and Brazil, and diamond jewellery design competitions sponsored by the De Beers Group in Southern Africa. Reema’s designs have sold through international department stores such as Harvey Nichols and Harrods. As well as designing Kuka-me jewellery, Reema designs one off precious pieces, working to commission.
