The food was ok, about as good as I get at much cheaper prices at not-great Indian restaurants at more down-to-earth locations. I got sesame Naan, which was decent(not great, but not bad by any means), and Murg Makhn, which also was ok(not really good, but not bad). Lots of very loud people made it less enjoyable, but that was not the restaurant’s fault: a party of about 15 kids were being very loud and obnoxious to the poor waiters. Probably tourists. I assumed they were Americans, they were being so annoying, but they were actually British I was happy to find out. :) If the prices were cut in half I would give it three stars. On the other hand, this is effectively an airport restaurant, so what do you expect? It’s overpriced, not great food.

I was on a short trip to London and stayed close to heathrow airport. I was looking on Unilocal for good Indian restaurants and found this one right next to my hotel(London Marriot). To my surprise, although it’s located inside Sheraton Skyline Hotel this restaurant amazed me with great ambience and good customer service. The pani puri(starter) is one of the best I have eaten in a while, it had the right amount of spice and flavor. Coming to the main course, Veg Biriyani along with Raita is the best combo. Most of the items are not expensive and they are good value for your money. — Raghu Mungara

An excellent outpost of the Madhu’s empire. You are presented with mini papads and reasonable chutneys as you sit down. The menu is split into the usual meat, vegetarian and side dishes, but also including a salad section(presumably a concession for the hotel environment) and the star of the show, the robata grill options. The robata lamb chops are wildly good and reasonably priced at £8, considering the quality of meat. Superbly tender, smoky, and spicy. Achari prawn was tasty but not quite as memorable. From the vegetarian menu anything I’ve tried has been great, the dahl makhani especially good, but be warned that some dishes, such as the methi gobi, are on the greasy side, even for Indian restauarant food. Regular naan and romali roti are both superb. Desserts aren’t quite up to the standards of the other dishes, but still worth trying. With one glass of wine or a couple of beers, £30 will get you a superb, sizable meal full of variety and flavor. It’s a little more expensive than the average Indian restaurant in the Hounslow area — it’s in a hotel, after all — but more than worth the extra cost. Highly recommended.

They have a robata grill that char-grills meat dishes like Robata Chop(lamb chops) and Murg Tikka. Go for the Robata Chop, which has two chops so you might need a couple of orders and then go straight for the Kulfi dessert. Skip the rest. Located inside of the Sheraton Skyline.
