History

Established in 2013.

Jennifer Cronje, the founder, has had a passion for baking since childhood. She left an IT management position in the corporate world to explore other options. Family and friends always appreciated her baking, then friends of friends started asking her for cakes and willing to pay her! Initially it was meant to be just cupcakes, hence the name; but people asked for novelty cakes and without any prior cake decorating experience, she was able to deliver. Jen-Jen’s Cupcakery just started… organically.

Jen-Jen’s Cupcakery currently gets her customers through word of mouth and social media. The official website is soon to be launched…

Business Owner

Jennifer worked in IT for a well know utilities company for over 10 years straight from University. Her last few years at the company she worked as an SAP Applications Development Manager.

After winning her fight with breast cancer she decided that life was too short to spend every day in a job she was not passionate about. Whilst searching for something more fulfilling, cake decorating found her; starting Jen-Jen’s Cupcakery became the most obvious choice. Working for herself was just the icing on the cake!
