Founded by cousins Martyn & Robert Smith and later joined by Martyn’s brother Darren the company is family run and has a vast wealth of knowledge in the electrical & building industries, we have developed this experience in to our expertise of saving energy & money for our clients.

The companies main office is in Goole, East Yorkshire, where we work with home owners & businesses across the UK to improve energy efficiency & provide the latest in renewable technology.

We are a reputable renewable energy company that offers energy saving improvements to domestic and commercial & public sector clients. These improvements include solar pv, biomass boilers, solar thermal water heating, heating, and external wall insulation. Backed by more than 50 years of experience, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service with no assertive sales tactics.

We are accredited under the Microgeneration Certication Scheme (MCS), PAS2030 Green Deal approved installers, Members the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC)

History

Established in 2015.

GFR are a well established, trustworthy, reliable and professional company with over 40 years experience. Based in the Historical Market Town of Howden, East Yorkshire

We cover the entire North of England and beyond if the project is suitable, and work with homeowners and business, including national names such as Tesco, Sainsbury & Scottish Power.

We pride ourselves on our customer service which is professional, caring, and high quality. Our customers rate us highly for our ability to hit deadlines, and for the high quality of our workmanship. Our professional service starts with an initial free quotation to the end professional finish. We are a family company with a long history in the building industry and all contractors used are qualified and experienced at their respective trades.
