History

Established in 1948.

Set up by Ronald Groves with the sister engineering company ‘Katron’, Groves Batteries has been Cheltenham and Gloucester’s local battery specialists for over 66 years.

Now run by Ronald’s son, the firm is now one of the most prominent and well respected family companies in the Gloucestershire area.

David has over 30 years experience with batteries and the market. Son of founder Ronald Groves, David took over the business from a young age and has strived on delivering the best customer service possible. Friendly and approachable, David has been called a ‘life saver’ by customers.
