Meet the Business Owner

Lee A.

Business Owner

Lee began his career in the jewellery industry straight from school, becoming an apprentice at the age of 16 at M&S jewellers in 1992. Over the next 5 years of his apprenticeship he developed his natural artistic creativity and learnt the skills needed in order to become a master goldsmith.

Lee worked along side many different people in order to become accomplished at all the disciplines within the jewellery industry. After his apprenticeship ended he stayed with M&S, becoming a vital member of the workforce and rose to workshop manager within a few years.

In 2006, Lee was thrilled to have the opportunity to take over the business and build on the great reputation that it had gained. Lee and his father have grown and developed the business, now named The Goldman, over the last 6 years, introducing exciting new aspects to the store, such as the 3D design service that The Goldman offers.

Lee considers himself very lucky to be in the industry that he feels so passionately about.
