We used Michael Tuck in Gloucester to buy a house on the market with the Abbeymead branch (it’s so easy to forget in these modern times this might confuse a business). I have little gripe with Gloucester office (they were just mildly ineffective) but the Abbeymead lot were worse than useless.
— Minimum effort and interest (they did do the bare minimum but nothing more) there was no sense we were getting a quality service.
— We enquired about letting a property through their lettings division to ease the pressure on our chain and for about three weeks before we exchanged and this was being discussed they said no problem but when it came to it the paperwork wasn’t prepared and terms completely inappropriate for the circumstances.
— A few days AFTER we moved they found another set of keys for the property in their office. Despite our two cars on the driveway the agent let himself in to the hallway. Needless to say we got around to changing the locks very quickly
