W2 aims to offer style + value. All of our suppliers offer reductions on orignal retail prices of top-​end fashion clothing: currently we work with Comme des Garcons (Japan), Margaret Howell (England) and Adam Kimmel (USA). We also stock over 30 original fragrances from Comme des Garcons together with beautifully crafted wallets, bags and other accessories.

History

Established in 2008.

W2 Store began as the world’s last Comme des Garcons Guerrilla Store, occupying a former cowshed for the last dairy farm on Byres Road (now The Bothy). W2 was the postcode before G12 was introduced and the owner, David Mullane, had been a founding director of The Warehouse: an iconic Glasgow fahion store, trading from 1978 to 1994. So W2 has a double resonance.

David has a passion for quality and good design but knows that does not come cheaply! The concept of W2 is to offer prices that bring top quality pieces of clothing to a wider range of people. His other passions include visual art and music, which adds to the character of W2. Don’t be put off by the ‘designer store’ image — you will find W2 relaxed and friendly.
