I’ve driven by Vintage and Retro many times, but it wasn’t until my Sister in law recommended it that I stopped by to explore!
This vintage and second-​hand furniture shop is located out past Glasgow Harbour on South Street — you could easily miss it, so look out for the sign which simply says «Furniture».
Inside, the showroom is split over two rooms. To the left, mid-​century to 70s retro (think Ercol, G-​Plan, etc), while the right-​hand room is crammed full of vintage and antique furniture. You’ll find a wide selection of coffee tables, chairs, stools, dressers, hall stands, mirrors, wardrobes, and so on from several eras.
I found the owner very helpful and friendly and recommend you check this place out if you’re looking for something special, or just fancy a browse of funky furniture!
