The Levitating Man

THERE ARE NO WORDS. 5 stars for levitating like a pro. Seriously though, this really does bewilder me and I’ve only seen it once. He’s standing and yet his feet don’t touch the ground. My brain can’t handle it.

Cool street entertainers are much less common in Glasgow than they are in many other big European cities. I personally think they add something to the atmosphere and general hustle & bustle of the tourist areas that we all often find ourselves in when abroad.
For that reason I am in favour of stuff like the levitating man and I like to always stop for a second or two and look both at him and the bemused expressions of people watching him.

It’s a little hard to review the performance of a person who is essentially standing still on Buchanan Street (not still enough to count as a statute) but I’m going to give it a try. I went for 5 stars as I do always smile as I walk past, and honestly — this job must require a strong will to stand there for most of the day while people poke and prod you.
I remember the first time I saw a levitating man (never seen a lady, yet) I was captivated. «But how?!» my brain screamed. I knew there was an answer, and so with some furious googling I managed to unlock the secrets. Now I know the secret, I like to chortle as I go past at people’s confused expressions.
