At first glance, I thought the St Kentigearn’s Cemetery was a lot more modern than the neighbouring Lambhill Cemetery. It’s certainly not as ominous or stately looking as it’s neighbour — but perhaps that’s just because it’s been better maintained?! Anyway, back to my point about it being more modern — it isn’t. Well, at least not by much. The first burial in St Kentigearn’s was in 1882 — less than a year after the first burial in Lambhill, This is quite a hilly cemetery, and I don’t think the surroundings are quite as nice as it’s neighbours. I’m going to stop being morbid and reviewing cemeteries now.
