I went here a few days ago with my friend who was meeting other people. I had never been in this place in the past until now. But had always past it. I think it comes across as one of Glasgow’s better places. I don’t really drink. After refusing my friend and others to buy me a drink a few times. I gave in. They kept getting me drink. At £1.50 per pint you could easily have a good night without breaking the bank. And being a single guy like myself. There are loads of beautiful women from all ages that come here. They have a little booth with seating you could sleep in. Along with a music system you can use your self that is for karaōke with a Mic. They have a girl walking around offering people shots at your table. The bar looks really long. The toilets are super clean. The staff are super friendly. They have seating area in the middle section, that’s leg space is below floor level. I was struggling to sit down into it and get back up lol Honestly. You need to try this place. It’s great. And being so close to central station and the taxi rank round the corner, along with being on the main bus route. It’s worth going too. Huge thumbs up. Happy hour all the time:)

I’ll be honest, RePlay isn’t the kind of place I’d normally gravitate towards. It just always struck me as the kind of place really, really young people went and just didn’t look like it was for me. I’ve been tempted there a couple of times by a work colleague and I have to admit their Happy Hour drinks promos are pretty alluring after a hard week at work. They do cocktails for about £3, bottles of wine for just over £6 — although to be fair, you get what you pay for. The most unusual thing about this place are the sunken chairs and tables at floor height(hard to explain but involves going down stairs to sit down at the tables — not great for big groups). There are a couple of free karaōke booths — I’ll let you decide if that’s a pro or a con! Although the drinks are cheap, this wouldn’t be my first choice of where to go for a quiet drink, but for cheap and cheerful it ticks the boxes.

The Scottish word ‘neddy’ has many descriptive uses. ‘He looks right neddy’ or ‘that top from quiz makes you look really neddy’. Well, Play can be summed up in one word, and that is ‘neddy’. Not my cuppa tea at all! From the moment you walk in, it screams underage and cheap, although the décor has been done to make you think that it’s more of a funky or RnB vibe, which I didn’t get at all. I got more of a dance music, happy hardcore element, which is ok for a while, but then gets grating on a night out. The drinks are on promotion for a few hours a night which is good, and after that it just gets pretty averagely priced. Not my thing at all, but would be ok for teens who are coming into town on their first night out, or if you just can’t bear to grow up!
