Visited here 29÷05÷16 used to come for lunch regularly 18 mth to 2 yr ago. Man this place has went down hill ! Only people in it was us family of 4, waitress was nice & helpful– good. Had to clean crumbs off seat before sitting down, should have heeded warning. Starters were fine, small but its a starter. Waited a while then mains came kids pizza wasnt sliced up so had to do it texture left alot to be desired, wife ordered pasta in tomato sauce good helping but looked like a reheat from just having been defrosted or bottom of pot the sauce was not runny in any fashion more sticky you could see where it was spooned on to plate. I had lasagne looked nice but taste was bland & texture bit dry, ordered garlic bread with it which had been left under grill it was dry as a witches … Only people in but service was now crap, sat with dirty plates on table for nearly 25 mins & had to get up & seek out staff for desert. Cheescake(speciality for day) topping was dry & tasteless & biscuit base was gooey god knows how probably best of icelands. Reason for poor service was the original waitress was finished & gone home. All in all 2hrs of my life i’ll never get back food & service was crap should have known when it was empty on a bank holiday– never going back & to cap it wife was vomiting later that nite. Avoid this place now like you would vomit in the street, owner must be losing money hand over fist & staff should not be in catering industry. shame used to be good. Should be called puke– enies!

In Cumbernauld their really arent very many trendy wee bars but this place is defo one of them. Its has quite a good selection of cocktails but beware if you come here at the weekend as it is rather small and gets very busy . The drinks are ok priced so it is really only the good place to go if you are under 30 !!!1

This the closest italian restaurant to where we live and our first visit was in a large group at Christmas the second being a Valentines Day meal. It is located on the Main Street up an alley which could be missed if looking for the entrance. The décor inside is contemporary lending to the warm and welcoming ambience. First visit was a set menu for Christmas and out of a group of about 30 there was not one complaint. On the second visit the main menu was used which gave a fantastic selection of dishes and no-one would have difficulty finding something. A 3 course meal with drinks cost us a little over £50 which considering it was the day after Valentines Day was fantastic value. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
