A tasty surprise. Great friendly service. The sweet nuts to start got the taste buds going. The mushroom risotto appetiser was light as were the festive menu pulled pork croquettes which came with an apple and cider dip. For mains, the bolognaise was nothing special but we really enjoyed the carbonara pizza which had a bechemel base instead of a tomato one and had a generous amount of parma ham. We went the full hog and ordered the tasting trio of desserts which were nice and the mini donuts. If we had paid full price we might have felt a bit underwhelmed but because Pizza Hut accept the Tastecard, our bill was reduced by half. Go for the pizza, service and nice surroundings. Worth keeping up to date with special offers which significantly reduce the cost like Tastecard and student discounts. I am a fan of sitting in a booth and they have nice booths here!

I used to be a big fan of Pizza Express, however I’m not a huge fan any more. Their pizzas are generally very nice, but they can be had for a quarter of the price in any supermarket to the same effect. The drinks are also quite pricey. There’s an endless stream of deals available online or through nectar points or something else similar, so I would never visit unless one of these deals were in my pocket.
