We have a well established business with 25 years experience in childcare. Unlike most nurseries our staff are fully qualified Nursery practitioners. A loving caring environment is created for your child to learn and develop at their own pace.

Established in 1990.

The business was established in 1990 and is now just about to go into 25 years in business.

This is due to sticking to our morals that all our staff are trained, always check for qualified staff percentage, you may be surprised to see the low qualification rate. We are a small personable nursery, where we consider ourselves to be an extension to family as we fully understand that parents have to feel comfortable too.

Business Owner

My name is Elizabeth and I started Merkland nursery in 1990. I am 60yrs old and hold an NNEB childcare and education certificate. I have a wealth of experience which I have used to change and adapt the nursery over the past 24yrs and am looking forward to planning our centenary year next year
