Ihnen Electronics

This is a crazy little shop on Battlefield Road. As you can see it deals with electrical goods to quite some extent and they always seem to have someone in enquiring about, or using, this service. So, although I cannot speak from personal experience: it would seem like a good idea to have a nosey if you are looking for new electronic gizmos or wanting older ones repaired.
However, what really draws my attention to this show is the gift side of it. There’s a fairly nice selection of silver jewellery at decent prices and they come in your standard velvet box packages, so handy for a last minute gift.
You’ll also find a treasure chest of what some would potentially call ‘junk’. Admittedly, I don’t need a metal wine bottle holder that looks like a person; a Rubik cube; a golden waving cat or a Newton’s cradle. Yet, when I spot these upon wandering past, it sometimes feels like I WANT these items. The golden waving cat in particular (see close up photo of said cat — mid wave and all).
It’s strange, I know. It’s also definitely not everyone’s idea of fun presents or unusual ornaments to brighten up your student home. Though, it definitely does the trick for me and I’m certain some others will also find it endearing.
If not, you can also stay to the safer electronic and jewellery sections within the store.
