Frankie & Benny’s

Another chain restaurant that my hubby brought me to, as he likes the larger menus. Frankie & Benny’s is an American style restaurant, which I would equate to a TGI Fridays.
I was in the mood for a burger and fries (chips, although being an American style restaurant, I think they actually did call them fries), and was glad they had a veggie burger option — the Mediterranean Veggie Burger. It also came with a weird tomato relish of some sort, which was kind of spicy and smokey. It wasn’t bad, but it was kind of weird. Seemed more like something I’d put ON my burger, rather than as a side. I got brownies and ice cream for dessert, which really is impossible to mess up, so that was good.
Frankie & Benny’s was A-​OK, but definitely not some place I’d go on my own free will.

I love f&bs but it never pleases me when it comes to service. I hate places that constantly ask if evrryting is ok, but being ignored is even worse in my book, and all f&bs seem to be like that. Food brilliant though!

I’m not a fan of F&B’s but I was asked to attend a work meal so …
The waitress was not that attentive to the tables needs and she messed up a few of the orders. Nearly everyone on the table had some sort of issue with the food — let’s be honest it’s a chain which churns out processed cheap food at reasonable prices — if you want a fun cheap night out it’s fine.
3 stars, most of that is for the company I was with.
