Right — I’m increasing my previous review’s stars up to about four and a half. While, I was aware that my folks were getting a new bathroom put in, it was only recently, that I realised it was this company that they finally used.
Now, from their account it seems that Florida Home Improvements managed successfully to walk the domestic tightrope of their individual bathroom desires. The mother wanted a wet-​room for £3, 000 and was rather upset to find out that it would mean a wall being knocked down and triple her estimation (or thereabouts? Who knows.); meanwhile the father didn’t want a new bathroom at all.
Somehow, Florida Home Improvements managed to persuade them (and my mother had already won the new bathroom war — to some extent) that a newer, shiner and more stylish — yet relatively modest — bathroom was required. They also managed to save their old tiles (see
review) and reused them around the bath which saved a lot of time, trouble and money.
Moreover, the staff were very open and honest in their evaluations and quotations. So much so that no extra charges were encountered — the opposite in fact. Top quality.
