Dalmatian Windows

We recently had 8 windows and 1 door installed. The salesman was friendly but to say he overstayed his welcome would be an understatement! He didn’t want to leave until we agreed to purchase (which we did because we were genuinely happy with the product and price). The next day the «surveyor» came to measure the windows more accurately — he was in a bit of a rush so didn’t take the time to explain what he was asking (how should I know what a transom drop is?!). Would have been better if he realised we’re not all window experts like him. The joiners were on time each day and stayed til about 5:30, though it took them a day longer than expected to complete the job. They worked very hard though, only stopped a couple of times to gulp down their tea and only took 10 minute lunch breaks. Unfortunately they installed the wrong trim on two of the windows, despite the fact that they were supposed to be the same all round. Dalmatian said they will send them out again to change it, so watch this space. When they were finished with the installation they became a little rude and wouldn’t leave the house until I paid them — they literally wanted me to get a computer there and then to transfer the money while they sat looking over my shoulder. Of course I refused, as my husband wasn’t home and hadn’t even seen the windows yet so I wasn’t going to pay anyone until we were both satisfied, but I was made to feel that I had to make up another excuse just to get them out of my house. The next day I was harassed with phone calls from Dalmatian asking when I was going to make payment. So in short, I would not recommend this company to a friend, although the product is good, it is not worth the stress and harassment that you receive after the installation. Ps I have also been harassed by countless curtain and blind companies who have been able to buy my personal information from Dalmatian! Not worth it!

I had a great experience with this company. I got 5 double glazed windows and a upvc door and when the guys came to fit it they were a lot more professional than expected. In factr the whole team from consultation right through to aftercare were thoroughly professional andd only too eager to help.
I got a great price, great product and great service.
I will recommend them to everyone.

This company is full of false promises, the general consensus is that they start off well and as soon as they have got most or all of your money they put you to the back burner and ignore you as much as possible. we have had a terrible experience with this company and just when you think it couldn’t get any worse, it does! a 4 week build has turned into 4 months, i think that speaks volumes in itself! I would not recommend this company! Also, i’ve noticed that they reply quickly on here but when you try to contact them about anything they don’t answer or reply. i’m really at the end of my tether with this company! 1 star is far too much but it wouldn’t let me put no stars. (11/4/13)just an update, we are a year on from when the sunroom was supposed to built and we still haven’t resolved all of the issues and because of this we cannot get the job signed off and get a completion certificate! as it stands we are still in limbo and sick of the empty promises that this company offers! oh and to top it off, we had a call from their sales department asking if we were thinking of using dalmatian in the future, i just laughed and informed the girl of our position regarding dalmatian windows and she was rather embarrassed!

This is actually my second review for this company as my original was deleted for breaking the T&C’S (I just think some ppl weren’t happy with what I said).
I am still waiting for a resolve on my window issues! I had windows installed in October 2011 and have been trying to get them fixed since!!!
After going back and forth with some pretty to the point letters, I am at a complete stalemate!!! I am actually waiting for the MD to call me back. I was assured he would call me on 30÷3÷12 (yes march!!!) which he did not and after chasing him several times (he was always un available) I still have had no call!!!
I have been told by two members of the dalmatian team on separate occasions that my windows need re installed and I had a phone call at 7:50am one morning saying that they were getting re installed yet I am still left with windows that are not fit for purpose!!!
Can anyone give me some advice on how to move forward considering I have complained direct to Dalmatian, thro trust mark, Barclays finance, qype And the Sunday mail judge!!!
What is going to make this company pull the finger out and fix my windows??? One star for this company is too much but you can’t have zero!!!

Once again Dalmatian still don’t know how to fix there mess, first bit of rain and we had water pouring in, took plenty of pics and camcorder-​ed it as well for proof, again a empty promise of a needless visit and have lost count of the times this has happened when no one bothers to turn up, enough is enough, a complete waste of money and after contacting the judge who got them to visit our home quickly its no back over to the judge, DONT USE THIS COMPANY

Following a post on this web site, I have received a message from Dalmatian Windows informing me that I have to contact them to discuss the problems I am experiencing. I have removed my previous posts as they have now served their purpose. I’m also pleased to see that Dalmatian has also left messages for others who have posted on this site. This is definitely a positive and pro-​active approach from the team at Dalmatian which is good to see and I thank them for. Kind regards

I’ve been completely let down by this company! VERY, VERY poor customer service that has dealt outragously badly (to the point of ignoring me) with my window installation. Workmanship POOR
Customer Service POOR I’ve seen advertising from them claiming how good their windows are. that only works if they are fitted properly Dalmatian!!! Next stop trading standards for me!!!
