Cheer Me Up Frozen Yogurt

Checked this place out recently with a friend, there was some renovation work going on but thankfully it was still open as I was so excited to try some froyo! I had the mango and passionfruit flavours and the small tub was pretty full! I had magic stars on top as an extra treat and really enjoyed my froyo experience. There were lots of topping choices and I can’t wait to go back to try another combo!
The staff were friendly and patient with us as we tried to choose what we wanted.
I liked the bright, happy décor and think I would have given it 5 stars if the place was finished and we didn’t have a man up a ladder right next to our table. It still cheered me up though! :)
I took a few pictures while we ordered and then completely forgot to take one of my yoghurt! I was just too keen to start munching!

Woohoo — a exciting new addition to Shawlands! I drove past on Monday and the place was filled with kids from a local school, thankfully on my way back again it was empty (phew!). I popped in to check it out.
The store itself is pretty nice, although a bit simple. I guess you can’t expect too much — it’s a frozen yoghurt shop. There’s a big menu up on the wall and the toppings are all laid out on the counter in bowls. Possibly a clear screen between the customers and the toppings might be an idea. There was LOADS of toppings, a really impressive range. My eyes were immediately drawn to the pistachios as well as the fruit toppings which all looked (and tasted) really fresh.
The yoghurt options are:
— Plain (vanilla)
— Chocolate
— Mango
— Passionfruit
I’m on a real passionfruit kick right now so I got a medium passionfruit, topped with coconut, raspberries and blueberries. This came to £4.25 which is probably a bit steep but it’s not something I’d have all the time. You can also get a syrup topping but I was a bit confused by this so didn’t bother.
The yoghurt (0% fat free) was really lovely and a nice, subtle passionfruit flavour, not too over the top. The fruit and coconut were really fresh. The portion size was actually really large and I couldn’t eat it all, so I’d definitely go for a small tub next time or share a medium. Service was excellent — I asked a lot of questions and the guy was really friendly and helpful.
I didn’t need cheering up before my visit, but I was certainly a great deal happier afterwards!

Love it, got a milkshake from here and it was great, love how you can get sweets and sprinkles for the frozen yogurt
