Another Itison voucher for this fairly recent opening on Sauchiehall St. And I must say, it knocks Viva Brazil out the water. It was pretty empty when my friend and I arrived, which was a bit disconcerting, but the waitress was super cheery and very friendly. We were having the evening charcuterie with an accompanying glass of vino, which was very promptly delivered(I like that in a wine!) and pleasant. Not long after the wee chap in the kitchen started delivering our meat, which was varied, flavoursome, and perfectly cooked. Although, as we were one of only 2 couples in, it did feel like he was coming round every 5 minutes, and I would have liked it to be a bit more spread out. Despite that, I found everything to be absolutely delicious, and unlike Viva Brazil, I didn’t get mores of that same«meat» taste, as everything had a unique taste, whether it was the marinade or seasoning. We ended up just letting him pile it on then asking for a doggy bag. I really hope this place sticks it out, despite the quietness of that evening, as I genuinely can’t wait to go back!

If you love meat and are very hungry this is a great shout! They bring 15 different kinds of meat and you can help yourself to a hot and cold salad buffet. The salad could have been better — it was more pasta, rice, couscous etc. so by the time I had tried that I was already very full! Nice cocktails. On the more expensive side(£22.95 for dinner) but I suppose worth it for the variety of meats.

Not far off being Brazilliant. Great staff eager to help, and tender, flavoursome meats. I didn’t like the beef ribs much, far too salty for my taste, but I guess that was to produce the crackling which I felt was a bit too tough. That’s my main criticism though, the meat was generally cooked as I like it and the spicing was pretty much on point too. It may well be the best churrascaria in town.
