Established in 2004, Bite Me is a small independent sandwich shop that offers delicious food and drink.

We do tasty hot and cold filled rolls, sandwiches, baked potatoes, soup, panini, toasties, baguettes, ciabatta, salads and freshly ground coffee and tea.

We have the favourites like cheese+ham toasties and egg mayo rolls or you could try one of our specials like our Tex Mex panini with spicy chicken, cheese, jalapeños and Mexican mayo.

What’s the best excuse ever to get breakfast ‘out’? When you have people in working on your kitchen!
Made a special trip here given the great reviews and was not disappointed, a delicious selection of breakfast, brunch or lunch deals and some interesting ‘specials’ with mexican themed sandwiches (or make your own combo).
Our rolls and tattie scones were fantastic as they were grilled not fried, and the hot chocolate was delicious and came with extra cream. All reasonably priced and served with a smile.

I just recently found this place. Went on a hunt for somewhere good near to my work and ended up here. I don’t eat bread so they offer baked potatoes, soup and salad bowls as an alternative to bread.
The food is always good quality, good portions and reasonably priced. This is a healthy option amongst the chippies and other take aways near by.
Staff are also nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

So. Bite me. ! Been meaning to try this for a while due to reviews being of the good kind. It didn’t disappoint. Both the Mrs and I decided lunch was in the cards and found ourselves close by. There’s lots chicken prawn type fillings which I’m not fond of. But I found a filling to suit. Filled not to bursting but very very flavoursome indeed. So much so I could’ve ate more. To polish it off I had a slice of there own millionaires shortcake. Which it definitely recommend. It’s typical sand which bar inside with some basic seating and a bar type along the window. To people watch. Who doesn’t? Any-​who give em a try if UR near. I think you’ll find something inside to suit.

So i have been trying to drag the other half into this place for an age and it has either been too late by the time she got ready, shut for a sunday or some such so finally the planets aligned and we got to go in here together.
A panini filled with turkey mozzarella and cranberry and a ciabatta of spicy chicken and sweetcorn with drinks came to £8. Very reasonable. i love this place as its all freshly made, new ingredients each day and the gentleman who serves you is generally patient and chatty. Very nice indeed!

2 stuffed baguettes, with extras, 2 cans and a rocky road for about £8. Food was delicious, nice place to sit in for a while, and staff were friendly and great. Also got a pretty decent espresso.
Less important, but the menu’s were really nicely written as well.

Noticed this place because of it’s name. Great little café in a very handy location. Loads of choice and everything’s made fresh to order. Sat in with my sandwich and tea. Crowded at lunchtime, so must be doing something right. Staff were friendly and food wasn’t too pricey. Would recommend!
