Really want to put a pic on here but can’t. Got a fish supper from here which is soooo old it practically had brittle bone disease. Had trouble cutting into it and extremely bad reheated chips. Opened up fish (struggled with that trust me) and it’s black and withered inside. If anyone wants to see itdI’d be more than happy to e mail pic. Will never go back again.

Just moved to Cambuslang and we were looking for a chippy to eat whilst sitting on our packing boxes and the only one we saw was Benny’s.
The actual fish suppers were ok but nothing special and the portions were tiny, especially for the prices.
The staff’s faces were tripping them throughout.
I think next time we won’t be bothering with Benny’s.

if your looking for a bag of chips thats more like mash potatoes then bennys on Cambuslang Main street is the place to go. They fall apart as soon as you pick them up. His fish isnt that great either and the batter just falls off leaving you with a handful of mush. The young staff usually have a scowl for you when you walk in. the owner is friendly enough when he is there. There is an italian menu with lasagne etc. The lasagne i got, was heated in a microwave and looked and tasted like the £1 ones from iceland. However I have had a Ham and pinepapple pizza from Bennys and that was good. Oh yes and he doesnt keep his bottles of juice in the fridge. (warn Irn-bru blurghh!!)
