Bargain Base

UNFULFILLED POTENTIAL!!!
So this new «outlet» store opened close to mine the other day and I thought «bet I’ll love this place»…WRONG!
I popped in today for a nosey and IT. WAS. BEDLAM! Like, disorganised CHAOS… I heard that there had been fights on the opening day! I mean, REALLY! If this was a shop where BARGAINS were to be had, I’d perhaps understand the mania, BUT. IT’S. NOT! It’s dreadful!
I expected the shop to be decked out in a «B&M/Poundland» sorta way, but there were literally boxes of stuff all over the floor, with no arrangement of similar items etc. UGH!!! And this wasn’t a «I’ll go when I feel like a rummage» place, this was an «omg, I need to get out of here ASAP» kinda place… awful!
The offerings are not all that appealing either, to be fair… the boxes had assorted toys/​mop handles/​bras in, so no kinda way to find ANYTHING!
I suspect Lidl had rented the unit next to theirs to get rid of their excess «weekly special» items; fine, if they were arranged at LEAST BY TYPE and made it obvious you were basically buying Lidl «out of stock» items… just HORRIBLE!
I would honestly NOT recommend this place to anyone… would’ve awarded no stars, if possible! ;-)
