There’s just something about large DIY shops that I absolutely love. I will admit to wanting to shout it from the roof tops that I love DIY shops and often times get some funny looks for admitting that! Saying that, I haven’t a single DIY bone in my body, but growing up around some pretty handy people and now having the opportunity to do some DIY in a flat, I get excited over the mention of going to B&Q. Anyway, this particular B&Q is set up in a similar fashion to others I’ve been to, which is always nice to be able to find what you’re looking for on first try. We were shopping for some wall stuff to fill in a newly acquired hole in the spare bedroom(due to overly zealous cleaning? Yeah we laughed over it as well). We had a wee wander and found what we needed pretty quickly, paid and were on our way. We didn’t come across any employees as it was a sunday and the shop itself was on the more empty side, but what we did come across was a wee café towards the back corner of the shop. In all honesty, I’m not sure how they manage to do any business, it’s quite tucked away, but it’s cute and serves it’s purpose(if you happen to stumble upon it). Being in this store gave us loads of ideas and options for future purchases for the back patio once the weather warms up. Exciting times ahead and B&Q will be part of those exciting times when we visit again!
