I saw a gentleman called Mark who gave me solid advice, didn’t try to sell me anything (least not a ridiculously unnecessary expensive fan like Holland Damp Proofing tried to do), isolated two distinct problems and two specific types of damp and told me how to fix them, straightforwardly, and with realistic expectations of costs no rip-​off inflation of prices and teeth sucking here.
Some sorts of damp, they charge a consultation fee for, but others they do not. They are completely trustworthy and incredibly knowledgeable. They would absolutely be my go-​to choice for anyone with a problem with damp in Kent, and the South East London area. If you can convince them to travel further afield, then do so.
(For the record, if you do require a fan solution, it should set you back around £250, not £1,200.)
