Hertz Rent A Car

Stay away from Hertz in Gatwick airport!!! Be afraid, be very afraid of this place. I rented a car with ease for one week. Everything was fine and great and at the end turned in my keys with a smile. One week after the trip and one week after paying them for their services, the madness began.
My bank account was charges $ 612.00 for renting the car and they attached four extra days to the car. Even after I proved I was not in the country those four last days they still charged me even with the boarding pass and ticket I presented. Then they charged me for damage to the car which made no sense since they looked over the car when I turned in the keys. I could not get my $ 612.00 back and they just swept it all under the rug.
Two days after the charge I did not owe and already they have hustled a total of $ 926.52 because I paid them and then they took out the huge amount of money. While I was still fighting them over the major over charge, they dipped into my account again for another $ 152.22. Dealing with my bank and Hertz I was in limbo and deeply hurt. Chase Bank said there is nothing they can do except file a claim, but nothing came of it and I never received my money back. All I can do is file fraud and close my account, but if I do that where will Hertz refund my money? I have lost sleep, money, and even not able to eat because someone at this location has my information and is dipping into the account and taking my money, I have no idea what is going on, but I am hurt by this and deeply in financial stress. People please stay away from this at all costs I warn you. this is a complete nightmare.
