Williams Music

Probably one of the few places worth a visit in the dreaded Metro centre, this music shop sells quite a range of instruments and a decent selection of books. There was a sale on last time I visited and I managed to grab a few good buys on the books. Plenty of pianos are displayed around the centre of the shop floor with the guitar section to the right side. There is the usual ‘music shop’ vibe which eminates throughout. It’s the feeling you get in a mixed room of music professionals, students, bedroom musicians and dads who want their son to become rock stars (because they never got the chance to be one). Prices are more or less the same as Window’s (see other review). Staff are helpful and they can order books in for you if they’re out of stock. I’d like that one, that one and that one please.
