South Liverpool Taxis

I had a dreadful experience with this firm on Saturday night. I ordered a large cab, ten days in advance, to take me from Heaton Park in Manchester to Liverpool, picking up at 11:55pm.
At 11:30pm I rang to tell them I would be slightly late and asked them to pass the message on to the driver. I arrived at the pick up point at 12:05am and rang to tell the firm I was there. They said they would pass the message on to the driver. At 12:20am I rang to check the size of the cab and spoke to the office.
At 12:45am, 55 minutes after the pick up time, I rang to see where the cab was and was told it wasn’t coming. To reiterate: this was the fourth time I had rung them in an hour and I had booked the cab 10 days in advance.
I was stranded in a residential part of Manchester in the early hours of the morning.
The firm said they would send another cab but it would take 40 minutes to get to me. Instead, I managed to persuade a black cab driver to take me home for £120 (instead of the £75 SLT said they’d charge).
I feel disgracefully treated by South Liverpool taxis and will never use them again. I would leave them a zero star rating if that were possible.
