History

Established in 2001.

I’ve been a professional seamstress since 2001 so if you have any sewing job in mind, however small or large, I’m sure I can help you. Business Owner

Necessity is the mother of all invention and I suppose that’s how I invented my work life! I was a single parent (now a grandmother) and always had dogs and wanted to work from home. I love sewing and started simply within my own family life with curtain making, sofa covering, adapting clothing etc and then branched out into paid work for others. I bought AbFab Costume Hire and Fancy Dress in 2003 as I was working with the then owner on repairs and costumes and it was a natural progression. Now I split my time between the two; sewing and fancy dress. There’s little I haven’t tackled and I still love my work! That’s true happiness!
