History

Established in 2004.

In 1999 Denise and her husband adopted a 6 week old dalmatian. Six months later pup had turned into a monster. Not understanding what had gone wrong; after all we had lived with dogs all our lives, Denise started to research how to solve the problems. At that time dog behaviourists didn’t really exist and the only help available was from a vet. However, training and behaviour, and vet science are entirely different disciplines and this wasn’t very effective. Denise passed an advanced diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour and Training with COAPE and was bitten by the bug. She started off as a volunteer dog walker at the RSPCA and then Waggy Tails. She started to run dog training classes and began to take on behaviour cases. Since this time she has helped train over 8000 dogs and gained a B. Sc (Hons) in Applied Animal Behaviour and is also currently conducting a Masters in research Science at Portsmouth University working on Dog Cognition.
