Always liked it up here. Kiddies playing on the big wooden lion cradling a lamb. Book shop, wine shop, clothes, outdoorsy shop, cafes and oddly a big Rug shop. And if you can’t cope then there is always Starbucks and a Waitrose. Nice to be away from the traffic but the cobbles are a bitch on pushchairs with small wheels

The shopping centre is nice but be carefull when you park in the waitrose car park, a part of the car park is owned by the Lion and Lamb and run by Town and City Parking Ltd.
The signs in this part of the car park are faded to white and can not be read but the parking company still issues tickets on this site this is illegal.
The landlords of the Lion and Lamb should be ashamed that they let this unscruples action carry on.
I will not shop here again until Town and City Parking get there act together and the landlords get them to replace the signs this is a clear case of entrapment on TCPbehalf

Fairly exclusive little shopping area. Most of the shops are high quality or specialist including Monsoon, Orvis, Ottakars, a couple of jewlers, an art shop and various gift shops. There are also a couple of cafes with outdoors seating that always seem to be full. The best part has to be the wooden lion and lamb statue that has been climbed on by generations of children!
