History

Established in 1991.

Brian Eyley trained and qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in central London with one of the primary firms of surveyors, Herring Son & Daw.

In 1975 he moved to King and Chasemore (now Sidleys) in Oxford. He soon became an associate partner of the business.

In 1983 he moved to his third firm of surveyors Kennedy & Partners based in London but running a local office Canterbury & from 1996, Fareham. He became a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors F.R.I.C.S. at the early age of 33 and became a partner from that date.

In 1991, he started his own business, Brian Eyley Partnership. The firm has now been a presence in Fareham for over 20 years. Brian’s experience now amounts to over 40 years.

The 3 different firms gave him the following extensive experience:

— Commercial and investment buildings

— Historic buildings including Grade I, II* and II Listed Buildings

— Social housing and charities

— Private housing

— Expert Witness for building Disputes

Business Owner

Brian is a founder member of a local Rotary Club that meets at breakfast time. It is a vibrant and active club, helping provide help for needy people at local, national and international levels.

Brian is a semi professional photographer dealing mainly with landscapes as well as illustrations of buildings, building construction and building defects.

He is a keen cyclist and likes walking, particularly hill walking.

He is married and has two grown up «children».
