History

Established in 1998.

ICE was established by Neil Selwood and Chris Parker who both, for a long time, had a passion for recumbent bikes and trikes. In 1998 they took the opportunity to acquire the rights to the original trike design and further develop the product. Today ICE is regarded as a world leader in the design, engineering and build of recumbent trikes.

You don’t have to do much searching on the web to find out that ICE make some of the best recumbent trikes in the business. They originally did very high end custom trikes, but now concentrate on stock models at more affordable prices. They’ve retained the great quality and attention to detail though, and are extremely comfortable and handle well.
Since the Mrs and I were nearby on holiday, I couldn’t resist going to visit. All the staff at ICE were really friendly, and took the time to set us up with some trikes to try out. I was sorely tempted to bring more back from the holiday than I left home with…
Now if only I could find storage space at home for a trike! So I confess — this review isn’t on the basis of owning an ICE trike, but from a long test ride and because everyone there was so nice.
