Description

Specialties

Welcome to The Alterations Seamstress, the bridal alterations specialist, run by fashion graduate Kelli Memory whom has several years experience in bridal alterations and dressmaking.

The Alterations Seamstress has been set up as a service which is rarely found nowadays as unfortunately seamstresses are few and far between. We know this is an invaluable service, not just in bridal wear but for everyday alterations required.

History

Established in 2012.

As a bridal alterations specialist attention to detail is the most important part of the job. Making those vital alterations, however big or small can make a world of difference. Your wedding dress will be the most important dress you’ll ever wear so time and care goes into every alteration made.

Bridal alterations vary greatly as there are so many styles of gowns available it would be impossible to give an exact time and price scale. Anything between 8 and 12 weeks before your wedding day is what most brides try to aim for. Majority of alterations are completed within 2 – 3 weeks but the more time you allow before your wedding the more peace of mind you’ll have knowing your dress is perfectly fitted. Emergencies can be done sooner with a 20% express charge made within a week.
