We don’t want to boast but «it’s the best cake I’ve ever eaten!» is becoming a bit of a regular comment from new customers…

We use the finest ingredients and all our creativity to deliver cupcakes or cakes that taste as good as they look. With a wide range of flavours and styles to choose from, we can also create special wedding cupcake tiers, giant cupcakes or novelty cakes.

If you want to try us out first, you can find us at Walton Farmers Market, in Walton, Surrey on the first Saturday of every month.

History

Established in 2009.

Jen’s Cupcakery was founded by Jennifer Sutton, a former Communications Manager in the City, who decided to leave the corporate world behind and indulge in her love of baking. After testing the market (with family and friends) and then moving on to Farmers Markets, where her cupcakes quickly sold out, Jen’s Cupcakery was in business. «I have always loved baking but also enjoy the creative aspect of cake decoration,» comments Jennifer. «It gives me great pleasure delivering something that puts a smile on people’s faces every day.»

At present, Jen’s Cupcakery makes bespoke cupcakes, giant cupcakes and novelty cakes to order for individual customers, corporate events, school fairs, cafes and Farmers Markets but has plans for a Jen’s Cupcakery café in the future.

Business Owner

Jennifer’s career spans twenty years in the PR industry, specialising in media relations and internal communications as well as copywriting and freelance journalism. A member of the IPR (Institute of Public Relations), she has worked predominantly in the Professional Services sector, both in-​house and agency side.

A keen baker and writer in her spare time, Jennifer decided to take the plunge and realise her long held dream to have her own business, combining the two into Jen’s Cupcakery.
