‘If you’re not fast you’re food’ I’m loving Timberland’s strapline this season. As a branding exercise, I’m not sure it works though. In my mind, it conjures images of free jumping across walls and running up buildings and I’m sure their incentive was to make people think of more practical activities like rock-climbing, abseiling and trekking. For those Unilocalers that love The Great Outdoors, Timberland sell great quality, hard wearing boots, trainers and clothes including cargo pants, jeans, waterproofs, fleeces and jackets. For those with very little interest in outdoor activities and camping, they also sell linen print camisoles, pleated linen shirts and patterned skirts.
