After lots of shopping, a hot chocolate and lemon loaf was on the menu before heading back to my hotel. It’s your typical Starbucks location. Nice atmosphere and free Wifi as well as friendly staff. There is another coffee location right next door but I still chose Stabucks. Perhaps it’s the American in me :). Mmmmm good.

Cheshire Oaks, i found out today, is an outlet mall, so all of these great shops are connected but you have to wander around outside — i chose the first snow day in February to come didn’t i!
But ahhhhh look, a starbucks awaits! With a warm inners and comfy chairs with tasty coffee! And it did not disappoint :)
My new favourite drink is the white café mocha. Now to warm my toes before returning outside…

I’ve drank in enough Starbucks to be able to tell the good ones, and this one was an absolutely awful Starbucks — the day i visited was not busy, but the place looked like a bomb site, with lots of cups all over tables.
Staff seemed dis-​interested and somewhat ‘challenged’ by the complexities of working in Starbucks.
I wouldn’t go to that Starbucks again as the experience was so painful.

This oddly shaped branch of Starbucks was squeezed into a corner of Borders book store when it opened. It is always busy and can even after customers long after the other shops and Cheshire Oaks have closed. Although I have known it to run low on certain sized mugs on the odd occasion, staff are always helpful and try to clean up as quickly as they can. They always have plenty of stock of the all important cakes etc. I just wish they had a bit more room so you didn’t feel pressured to move on and let the next people sit down!
