We are a traditional English country pub with accommodation offering you a warm & friendly welcome (& a roaring open fire during cold spells), just for a beer or one of our local ales, (for which we have recently been accredited a Certificate of Excellence from Cask Marque), a glass of wine, a freshly prepared meal, a light bite at the bar or our excellent & locally renowned Sunday Roast.

We serve delicious home cooked food, including a warm & hearty «Pub Classics» menu using fresh, locally sourced, seasonal produce, as well as freshly laid eggs from our ladies in our garden. For guests staying with us we can also provide a freshly prepared «picnic in the park» for a romantic occasion or a family & friends gathering & our equestrian themed conservatory is available for hire for private gatherings & celebrations, along with our secluded garden.

Well behaved dogs are welcome throughout the pub & garden at all times.
