History

Established in 1989.

Paul Brooks & Co has provided professional building surveying and associated property services in Egham Town Centre for over 25 years.

This is a small consultancy practice of 2 partners, and the service is both direct and personal as well as time-​structured and dependable. Clients are regularly referred to us by solicitors, architects, accountants, estate agents and others, and we have worked e.g. for The British Airline Pilots Association and Royal Holloway, University of London.

FRICS, DipArb, FCIArb, MAE, CEnv & MEEC, (Chartered Building Surveyor, arbitrator and accredited expert witness, Chartered Environmentalist & energy consultant).

Experience comprises 43 years’ (32 years post-​qualification) in building design, building defects analysis and assessment with remediation (including insurance claim management), client side project control (central London: governmental), agricultural development and science research facilities, general estate management (UK wide), survey and local residential valuation.

Within this field, both local and central governmental H.Q. positions were held for 12 years in total, prior to practising independently for the last 25 years.

Some 20 years ago, judicial training was undertaken via the College of Estate Management, leading to qualification as a professional arbitrator. Accredited expert witness status has been held for 19 years.
