Located in the heart of Edinburgh, The Piemaker has become part of Edinburgh history, trading in the city centre on South Bridge since 1995 and now at 61 Great Junction Street, Leith since 2013.

The Piemaker is the perfect place to eat tasty and freshly-​prepared pies.

Local perfecto para reponer fuerzas y continuar visitando tan bella ciudad.
Perfecto de precio (7,60£ por 4 pies y 2 refrescos) y todo muy bueno. Probamos la scotch pie, la Jumbo sausage y la Haggis pie. Como ya he dicho, estaba todo buenísimo, calentitas, muy sabrosas y contundentes. Con un par de piezas sales llenísimo!
El local es pequeñito. Puedes comer en las barras situadas en las ventanas.
Sin duda lo recomiendo por ser un lugar muy asequible y con buena comida

Unbedingt probieren!
The Pie Maker an der South Bridge ist ein kleiner Imbiss, an dem man leicht vorbei läuft. Dabei lohnt ein Besuch hier absolut!
Es gibt jeden Tag zwei verschiedene Suppen (eine vegetarische) und verschiedene Pies sowie ein paar süße Sachen.
Tatsächlich handelt es sich bei The Pie Maker um einen Imbiss, das heißt das Geschäft ist recht klein und gegessen wird im Stehen oder auf Barhockern.
Dafür bekommt man zu einem kleinen Preis traditionelle Pies, die zu einem Schottlandaufenthalt definitiv dazu gehören! Für 95p bekommt man einen Scotch Pie, für circa 1,30 Pfund einen Haggis-​Pie. Patries (etwas größer) mit verschiedenen Füllungen kosten 1,60−1,90 Pfund. Ich habe einen Veggie-​Pastrie und eine Linsensuppe gegessen. Beides war superlecker und frisch. Mein Freund hat den Lasagne-​Pie und auch den Haggis-​Pie probiert und kann auch diese beiden empfehlen ;).
Auf Wunsch werden die Pies (normal lauwarm serviert) auch nochmal erhitzt. Zur Mittagszeit ist richtig viel los in dem Laden, viele Einheimische holen sich hier glaube ich mittags einen kleinen Snack.
Wer bei The Pie Maker vorbei kommt, sollte hier einen kleinen Abstecher machen. Es lohnt sich.
