Seldom have I seen a Guinness poured in Edinburgh with such care as the one I enjoyed here last Sunday night. I’ve been in here quite a few times in the last five years or so and, whilst it lacks any real ales, has a lot of punters that more sensitive souls may bristle at and offers karaōke on Sunday its prices are keen, it has loads of character(with a tiled interior unchanged for decades) and is a good bet if you’re looking for somwhere with local colour and a bit of lfe about it.

Unfortunately another one of Leith’s pubs that is well worth giving a miss. It looks like a traditional pub from the outside but that’s about as good as it get. This pub is let down by the type of customer that the management have allowed to take over this bar.
