Piershill Square East

I have to give this place 5 stars, because it is one of the only places in the city that I have found, apart from in gyms and sport centres, that has a basketball court! Being a relatively tall guy, I have an obvious advantage when it comes to playing basketball, and enjoy having the chance to put this attribute to the test. When I was in Sports Direct, I saw a good Nike basketball for £2 and bought it hoping that there must be a few areas around the city that would have basketball courts. But there aren’t many areas in the centre of the city at all, which I think is a huge shame, because it is a great game.
In terms of the other facilities that this area has, there isn’t much, but it is just in front of a fairly big housing estate and as such is a huge convenience for any dog walkers in the area and for any kids who just want to have a kick about or play basketball.
