This is a great starter pub with lots of brilliant offers during the week. Mon — Fri, 5pm — 8pm its buy one get one free on all drinks which is brilliant for a Friday although it does get really busy and takes a while to get served. After a certain time the DJ gets the music going and you can have a good dance, the music tends to be mostly chart which is good for a boogie. Its great as a starter pub but is open till 1am on weekends so is good for an all nighter too!

This is a pretty good place if your on an economy drive and have a snapfax as its 2 cocktails for £6. Howver, this often leads to the place being completly packed out and you having to wait hours to get served, and then ages as they make your drinks. It’s usually worht the wait though and if you arrive early enough to grab a booth then it’s possible to have a great night there. Make sure you always take ID with you for the over zealous doormen.

This is a great place to begin your night out. Situated at the West End of Princes Street so you can work your way along George St/​Rose St. The prices are quite expensive unless you go when they have their 2for1 drinks offer. It tends to get quite busy when the offers are on but they are worth it. Toilets are donwstairs so be careful if you’ve had a few. great cocktail choice

Henry J Beans is popular for their two for 1 offers which last between 5 and 9 pm on weekdays… unfortunately this also means that the bar is packed on a Friday night. Music is okay and food is available, not the best quality though reasonably priced. Cocktails also included in the offer, so good place to get started if planning a big night out
