George square

It is the heart of the University of Edinburgh campus (the new building). George square is not only an ordinary square but it is also a great place for a bit of sunshine, eye and mind relaxation and also a place to meet and share your lunch and jokes with colleagues. It is a small park with alleys of benches, green patches of grass where you can stretch under the sun, and also, a small labyrinth near its north entrance, called the Edinburgh labyrinth — a true copy of 13^th century labyrinth laid on the floor of Chartres Cathedral in France.
