Today is the first time I’ve seen this place. I popped in for a breakfast visit on my way to the city centre. It has a fresh and welcoming feel to it, coupled with a wide choice of fresh food sandwiches and soup on offer. If I’m in the area again, I’d happily visit Danelis Deli.

Seriously love this place. It’s a bit small compared to other cafes in the area, but you can’t beat a small friendly deli. The deli is run by a couple that remember their customers and take the time to engage in more than just regular small talk. The male owner seems incredibly passionate about the food they serve and is happy to recommend food & combos for your sandwich /roll. Delighted to have found a deli like this among all the bigger faceless branded chains. Will be a regular visit for me from now on.

I’ve been here only once for trying out their soup. This place hasn’t been open for that long. I got carrot and ginger, it was ok. Paid extra for brown bread. They have a fridge with cold sandwiches, soft drinks and only one table. There was an unusual smell in the air, not sure if that was from the day’s soup or something. It was a cold day so the windows were steamed up. A couple ran the place that day. Not sure if I would go back considering the tough competition in the area.

Just wanted to let you know you have reviewed the wrong cafe .. Next door has only one table and I can honestly say I would never serve Carrot and Ginger soup to my customers...
I also only do artisan rolls and not brown bread with soup ... Don't think you should write reviews without obtaining the correct facts.
